Made4Biz Security CEO addresses ISF Bi-Annual Forum on
Implementing Security Convergence Solutions with Dynamic Security
Made4Biz Security Inc. CEO Ilan
Meller addressed the ISF bi-annual security forum meeting in Amsterdam, February 8, 2006, on the subject of
security convergence. He demonstrated how convergence of ICT and physical security systems can be implemented
using Made4Biz Security's unique Dynamic Security product line. The event was sponsored by Delta-Lloyd.
Dynamic Security makes convergence
of physical and ICT security systems a reality by incorporating information from all types of security systems
and processing it using its unique correlations and pattern-recognition engine. The system bridges the islands
of technology represented by different isolated ICT and physical access control security systems, and utilizes
the information and control capabilities of each system. The isolated systems become elements in a sophisticated
and centralized security system. The result is an intelligent system for automated security administration,
encompassing both physical and information security. The system utilizes physical presence information to modify
user access rights, implementing location-based information security. Temporal information, forensic data,
sensor signals and other information can all be related to produce a responsive and adaptive security policy.
"Dynamic Security can prove to the
skeptics that security convergence is not a pipe dream, but a working concept that can radically reduce needless
security exposure and help automate incident handling in emergencies," said Meller.
The Information Security Forum (ISF)
is the world's leading independent authority on information security. It's members include 50% of the Fortune
500 companies. By harnessing its world-renowned expertise and the collective knowledge and experience of its
members, ISF delivers practical guidance and solutions to overcome wide- ranging security challenges impacting
business information.
