The Problem

A ‘Non Wi-Fi’ organization that lives by the policy “not to let our data fly about in the air,” and therefore does not implement Wi-Fi technology, has discovered that their data “flies about in the air” after all, since they often have visitors from other companies connecting their Centrino-based laptops to their network.

Apparently those laptops are acting as rogue access points on their network.
