Made4Biz Security Inc - Dynamic Security Solutions: Identity Theft Business Case

The Problem

A financial institution discovered that one of their employees was committing thefts using a peer’s credentials.

After investigating the pattern of behavior of the criminal employee, they discovered that it matches the pattern of behavior that was described by the FBI for such cases:

  • In over 85% of the cases the thief will use peer’s credentials to disguise his activities, a technique called ‘Internal Identity Theft’.

  • In over 90% of the cases the predator will exercise the ID Theft while his peer is out of the premises.

The Solution

Dynamic Security creates a “credentials drought” by implementing a policy whereby the only credentials that are functional are those of the physically present employees.
